Two firsts for me - and it's only W2R3..

Just back from W2R3 and feeling great! I was a bit nervous at first as my daughter came with me - she does triathlons and half marathons - my first time running in company. And I managed to run and chat at the same time. My second first was that the heavens opened halfway through our run so I experienced my first run in the rain. My daughter (who has a fancier Fitbit) informed me that our pace was quite respectable (for a beginner). She also mentioned the P word, but I'm not ready for that! Can't wait for Sunday and starting Week 3!!!

Good run. Sometimes it’s good to get wet. P word? A regular Saturday morning P word? Soon you’ll be ready. Enjoy week 3

Hee hee - I'm a bit of a loner but my daughter has suggested when she next visits ( in a few months), maybe I'll be ready...my local parkrun has a few hilly bits so not so sure....

Few months? You’ll be fine by then... hills will be matched by your added stamina.
