Just a thought, and I know you're much younger than some of us, but you are running quite fast. If you are having a difficult run try slowing down...... a lot.

There are no rules as such and the end objective is just to run for 30 minutes regardless of distance. I've just come back from a slow 3.5K run.

Having said that, there is nothing wrong with repeating runs until you are happy with them.

And of course, don't be disappointed. Look back at what you've achieved so far.

Thank you so much for your reply.... I’m struggling to find a good consistent pace. I’ll definitely try slowing it down for my Wednesday run. The weird thing today was that I felt much slower than usual 🤔

I don't think Paula Radcliffe would be disappointed with that pace - no wonder you were cream crackered :-)

Think that’s half my battle, not sure how slow/fast I should be going.... bring on Wednesday though, I’m ready for it 💪🏻💪🏻

I set up a pace thingy on my phone to help. I was surprised how much it slowed me down but now I can go for much longer. The tortoise not a hare 😉

Well it’s the Samsung health app but I’m sure other makes do a similar health app. I had to google to learn how to do it but it’s pretty straightforward.

Oh no what a shame! ☹️ But never mind, treat the run as extra fitness training, go back out there next time and smash that run! Make sure you hydrate plenty next time! 💪😀👏

I was a little gutted but then thought at least it was a run and it was 4K I wouldn’t have done if I’d stayed in bed... I’ll make sure I’m properly hydrated, got body pump tomorrow so will be drinking plenty 👍👍
