I have graduated today.. w9r3 done. I am over the moon and even jumped in the air with a fist pump when Laura said that's it π. My hubby ran with me... apologies for the sweaty photo but I was well pleased π
I did struggle with wk8 and wk9... mentally with other things in my head and struggled concentrate so I didn't really enjoy the run. However today... mind feeling better... good run... mind more clear and smashed it.
I have consistently ran 4.2k in 30 mins but today only ran 3.9..... I had numerous calls which distracted me.... but still feel so good about the run. I have completed the program and I'm running.
I feel so much fitter and stronger..... so pleased I have achieved this c25k.
So what next..... where do I get my graduation badge etc. Do I have to do anything to show my new graduation status π
I will probably carry on running 30 mins just to strengthen further and increase my speed. Also looking forward to park runs.
I am so chuffed... I would recommend this to anyone. IT IS ACHIEVABLE...
Thanks for all the tips and support. I will continue to check in and share stories.

Fabulous achievement! Well done Sarah! Get up on that podium and have a few glasses of π₯π₯π₯ to celebrate! πππππ
Consolidating your 30 minute runs for a week or two is a good idea, then decide how you want to proceed. Have you done a parkrun? Theyβre so much fun - did my first today! ππ
I haven't yet... I have registered.... and do have a couple local park runs. That's one of my next steps and can't wait. Was it good fun then....? Are you able run the 5k... I'm only at 4.2k as best...
It was the best fun ever! I ran it all, although my time wasnβt fast (41.30).
My goal before entering was to be able to run the whole distance as Iβm stubborn and didnβt fancy walking any of it - although you can, obviously. I highly recommend you give it a go when youβre ready! Itβs such a friendly atmosphere and everyone is so encouraging! πππ
Excellent news. ππββοΈπ. Well done thanks for sharing, both of you are beaming in that photo and why not!!
You have given an excellent recommendation for others to follow the C25K programme. Itβs from reading these lived experiences which have motivated me to start running and not to give up- Iβm on week 8 so almost there- it will be a triumph to do week 9 (all 3 runs) and I canβt wait.
Bravo to you. Virtual hugs and a standing ovation to both of you.
Well done, and we all love a sweaty photo lol, great to see you up there on that podium with that graduate badge next to your name, the one that says graduate 10 is pretty cool too, something to aim for in the future maybe? ππ
