First run tonight post-injury. Nearly two weeks off the road has been a frustration to say the least. But the legs just wouldn’t say “yes” until this evening! Can safely say that CrossFit, for me, isn’t conducive to running... it’s just too intense.
Glad to bash out tonight’s 28 minutes pain-free, and with “relative” ease. Took it nice and gently without any focus on pace or distance. Just wanted to hit that 28 minute mark comfortably and safely.
That said, still pleased with a circa 7:30 pace, so hopefully won’t be too bad bringing that up to the golden 6:00 mark at the end of Week 9!
Only disappointment is that it’s dry outside... got a new running jacket I’m itching to try! 😂
