Treadmill v real running

Well did W6R2 on land instead of on a treadmill. It felt like I was in a bad dream where you are trying to run away but you can’t run and you are not getting anywhere fast! My legs felt so heavy and weak. Just read the guidelines for running on a treadmill - should have been running on a 1 degree incline to make it more realistic. So now What to do?

I might go and do W6R3 on treadmill starting with incline and reducing if I struggle- or do I go out and run on real ground? I am not a pretty sight to watch running. Feeling a bit useless and demoralised now. Should I go right back to beginning? Decisions decisions

If you're used to being outside, treadmills just feel weird. And vice versa I guess. I loathe treadmills. With a passion. Just feels wrong. Difference between pushing and being pulled.

May Berksrover will have some top tips; Steve is a Mastermind and runs completely unflappably on either.

I wouldn't fret it tho. Put the incline at 1%, don't set the speed too high (again Steve may be able to help with that too) and hang on in there. The outdoor world will wait patiently for your return :-)
