Nine weeks after last running 5k and four weeks after coming back off the IC, I managed to run 5k again this morning. I am so happy! Five minutes in and the rain started coming down like steel rods but I didn’t care. It was exhilarating! 🌧 I just knew in my heart that today was going to be the day. I had to dig deep for the last 1k but I did it. The prosecco Is already in the fridge and the cake is baked! 🥂 🍰 So to all of you coming back from injury, keep going and stay strong, you will get there. 💪😁

I am using Runkeeper. Initially I was using Strava but it had a hissy fit a couple of months ago and stopped working properly! 😂 I really like Runkeeper now, lots of features. 👍
