Can someone advise me....

3 weeks ago I was happily rolling through the programme at day 2 week 7 then due to unforeseen circumstances I had to stop. I am looking to pick it up again this week but I don’t know where abouts in the programme to start from. Before I started couch to 5k I hadn’t done any exercise for 20 years so I am not sure what to do

Where do you feel comfortable trying? Really you could just try the next run and see how you get on... or go back 1 week and try from there.

You may have lost a tiny bit of fitness in 3 weeks but mainly its confidence 👍😉

Thank you - you’re so right about the confidence 😉

If you tell yourself you can do it I bet you'll surprise yourself 👍😁

Agree with the above about confidence. Try starting week 7 again - if it’s too much maybe go back to the beginning of week 6. Good luck!

You were at the continuous run stage So why not try Wk5R3 and see how you do with 20 minutes (I remember being so amazed I could actually do that run!). If it feels great you could perhaps jump to where you left off, if it's ok you could just go from there, if it's hard then perhaps drop back to the beginning of Wk5?

The main thing is to get out there and believe you can do it.

Happy running 😊

Start where you left off...slow, steady and listen to your body... it will soon tell you how it feels:)

Try where you were up to. I bet you surprise yourself. If you can’t complete it, go back to week 6 👌🏽

Either start where you left off if that was comfortable or drop back a run if you feel that would be safer. i took that advice when i missed nearly 2 weeks (also in week 7 as it happened, so tepeated w6r3) and it worked well for me

Just head out... take it slow and steady and see what your body tells you:)

Today I went back to couch to five and started where I left off - week 7. Run 3 I really didn’t think i would end able to do it - I hadn’t run for 20 years before I started this ad it had been 8 weeks since I last ran ...... I did it !!!😁 I can’t believe it. I might not be the quickest, I might not be the foxiest and I might just look like I’m dragging myself each step of the way but I did it !!!! I guess Micheal Johnson was right - I am a Runner 🏃‍♀️ 😂😂😂 who would have thought it ....... not me 😉
