I’ve finished C25k... what now?

Is there a NHS App like the Couch to 5k for training for a 10k? Sleep deprived, I enrolled for a 10k, a few days after completing my 5k... Stupidly... so now I’m training and have 5 weeks to run 10k. I’m struggling to find an app to listen to... I liked the encouragement every now and again on the app I used, and I’ve listened to loads of apps, but they’re very serious, and grown up... I dont consider myself to be either, so looking for an app that will keep things light... Any suggestions?

Hi, There is an app called “ zombies run” you can set it for different distances etc. I haven’t used it properly yet but it looks really fun. I wanted something fun and different to run to as well :)

There's no NHS app for 10K, no. There are a couple of other apps as you've found!

Since you have your specific goal of the 10K, you know you want to increase your distance, and the guidelines for that are based on the 10% rule. Have a look in here for general post-C25K advice, including mention of the 10% rule: healthunlocked.com/couchto5... - you can, if it feels right, get to 10K in 4-5 weeks. Do have a look at the plan that Tasha99 suggested, if you want encouragement, you'll get that in spades over on the posts on the Bridge to 10K forum :)
