It’s not cheating! I hate the treadmill, I have a lot of admiration for those who can do this programme on one. Well done.

Thank you, I’m about to do week five run 2, run 3 is making me nervous 😂

You can do run 3... relax and focus. Now knock down run 2 and rest. The biggest challenge for run 3 is in your head, the legs are ready.

Is whoever told you that not a runner by any chance? However you choose to do it, you’re still running - ignore the doubters 😊

Ooh yes! Thank you

I do both as I don’t like going out on my own running my hubby usually comes with me but if he’s not available I use our treadmill. Running is running, someone telling you porkies. X

Why is it cheating? You're following the same program? If it works for you then brilliant!!

Not cheating at all but I’d recommend mixing it up as it’s different, but maybe you’ll prefer to do that after you’ve graduated 👌🏽

Is it harder?

I don’t know really! I enjoy running outside but the heat is frustrating so I’m only going running club sessions and the ParkRun outside at the moment. Tend to do other stuff like intervals and short in between runs in the gym. For my perceived effort, I seem to go slower in the gym. If I try and run my outside 5k pace in the gym, I struggle to do it for the same amount of time. But then again, you naturally go faster in group events. It’s very odd. You may find it easier outside! But then you’ve got elevation etc to contend with. On a treadmill, I sweat a lot more but I think there isn’t the fresh air to dry you off as you go. I don’t think I could stand to run much longer than 6k on a treadmill though 💤Roll on cooler weather when running outside is more accessible and longer runs are better! Good luck and keep running! 🏃🏽‍♀️👌🏽
