Did W8R2 last night and shock horror!!!! I caught sight of myself in a shop window across the road during the last 5minutes of my run!!!!! Can anyone help with advice????? I seem to start off quite well upright but as the run goes on and I get tired my body just seems to bend nearly in two according to the image I caught sight of in the window😂😱 well.... really stooped and shoulders rounded.....any tips would be appreciated. 🏃♀️🏃♀️

Yes, seeing your reflection in that shop window gave you a shock, but it's now taught you when running to straighten up and stay upright, practice doing shorter runs, perhaps have someone with you when out running, they then will advise you to not bend and be able to stay upright.

Don’t worry about it. I am the same - I lean forward a lot, particularly when I'm tired. I had a run with an experienced runner and asked him about it and he said not to try and change it as it's natural for me. Happy running!

I slouch too. This means when I get to 8k ish I start getting back pain which is annoying as want to move on further. I spoke to a gym instructor the other day and he said I need to do traction work but also other core strengthening exercises. Need to strengthen the rhomboid muscles at the top of my back. It’s made me try and think whilst running about posture. There are a few videos online for exercises to help with posture too.

Can totally relate with that when I do yoga. What I thought was quite symmetrical and straight really isnt when u see your reflection in the tele screen x
