Yes I have graduated, yes it feels good. But also a bit of a fraud as it was done on the treadmill and only 4 k. It should be called couch to 30 minutes and I would feel a lot happier. But I have just done 3 x 30 minutes at 6.5 km per hour. I will may be start at week 4 on doing outside runs and when I get my graduation then I will be more happy and not a fraud. Treadmill do push you on and it is easier, but if I hadn’t have done this first, I wouldn’t have done it at all. Big smile 😊

Congratulations! Well done!

Don't knock treadmill running. You set the pace and off you go, once the pace is set we feel reluctant (or at least I feel reluctant) to change the pace in fear of being struck down by a lightning bolt or something similar. So we charge on (okay, slight exaggeration in the word 'charge' but you get the picture). Unlike outside where we get to stop for traffic lights etc and can just adjust our speed depending on whether we are going up or down hills. So, no you are not a fraud. Be proud, and celebrate in style!

you are amazing... no fraud ! well done !!! You have run for 30 mins straight that's fantastic. The 5K distance is irrelevant... that will come.

Treadmills equate closest to track in my experience... now nobody is saying Mo is a fraud, he can keep those Olympic golds I think. Yes it’s different to trail, road and even grass... but what it does give you is a lack of distractions, and it requires you to drive you to the finish line.

I like the outdoors and I turn at the bell, then my job is to go beyond my start point. Treadmill doesn’t give you that, you have to dig deep and find it.

While I hate the treadmill with a vengeance, I’ll never knock anyone who uses one. Treadmill and outdoors have different challenges, that’s all.

Congratulations on graduation. I look forward to seeing where you go from here.

Well done. Wish I'd had a treadmill in the hot weather! Don't worry about only gettimg to 4k. Most don't run 5k in 30 mins at graduation. I will never run 5k in 30 mins ha ha!! But i WILL run 5k! 21πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

No way are you are you a fraud. I did the whole thing on a treadmill. Boring as hell but it gets the job done. Good job well done you! πŸ‘

Cannot even imagine doing so much on a treadmill! My one attempt to use it was a nightmare.

I have come round to thinking of this programme as C230min so as not to set myself up for inevitable disappointment. My aim distance-wise is to finish it with some hope of eventually being able to cover 5K in less than 45 minutes

Congratulations 2707! Don’t let anything take away from this amazing achievement!! 4K is a brilliant distance in 30 minutes too. We are all so many different, shapes and sizes, we can certainly achieve that 5k! You will and at exactly the right time too! Massive well done to you graduate!! πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸŽ“πŸ†β€οΈ

I still run a mixture of treadmill and outside, did my graduation week runs all on a treadmill (I was in Mexico, nowhere to run outside and too hot) so don't even think about doubting your right to be a graduate, YOU ARE!!! Many congratulations, enjoy your running going forward wherever you do it.
