What do people use to measure their distance. I use my phone, but don’t know if it’s accurate!

Phone here too. Pretty much accurate... gps on modern phones is usually accurate to less than 12 feet.

I have used a free app called "Run-Log.com" I find it to be pretty accurate with pace and distance

Garmin watch. My phone was hopeless (we live in an awkward place for GPS) but the watch is spot on.

I use the runkeeper app on an iPhone. Been ok for me. I like that it gives me times at each km and it works alongside the C25k app and music/podcasts.
