So I planned to stick rigidly to a few weeks of consolidation runs, but then got out there and felt great so cheated a teeny tiny bit and kept going for 33mins (although forget to start Strava until a minute in...), knowing I could hit 4k mark if I pushed it just a wee bit. Best run since I started, felt strong and in control and maybe it was the lack of pressure to complete all the runs, avoid injury and be able to finish the allocated time, but I got home and realised it's also my fastest pace so far. Will be sure to take it easy and not push too far going forward but feeling fantastic! Happy running folks and to introduce you to some Belfast lingo, keep 'er lit 😁

Wow Fimoo, that pace looks supersonic from where I am (week 7). Brilliant, well done!

Cooler than recently and overcast here for the first time in a couple of weeks was a massive help! It looks like it might even be about to rain now! My garden and filthy car are thrilled as we've had a hosepipe ban here for almost two weeks already!

I had today earmarked as a sunbathing day to get some colour on my pale blue legs now I've got brave enough to wear shorts. However it went grey and cloudy so I did some painting instead. Now patches of legs AND arms are grey.

Having spent the past two years diy renovating an old house, I've gone to work more times than I can count and discovered paint patches I thought I'd got in the shower. Check the underside of you forearms! Pale and interesting is where it's at anyway 😉
