I woke up on Wednesday with an incredibly tight piriformis muscle - ouch π³
Luckily the physio managed to squeeze me in for an emergency session And I've been resting and stretching it ever since.
Its been easing gradually and after a good stretch this morning I decided to give it a go.
Couldn't quite let go of C25K yet, so went with a Week 9 Run and stuck to JW. Decided to switch from recording the whole session on Strava to just the run to see where I'm at, and decided to try a brand new route too!
Left too late after lots of phaffing this morning so it was far too hot, new route was lovely but lacked shade .. managed just over 4K in 32 minutes which gives me a good bench mark - strangely no pain at all whilst running but definitely started to tighten up again in the cool down walk home which is a bit frustrating / back to the physio on Monday for me!

Yes, I think it was at around the Week7/8 point - I work for the NHS so went along to the run that was celebrating its 70th birthday. I loved the atmosphere but the run was vicious!! - pretty much 2.5k uphill and then turnaround and run 2.5k downhill (bet you can guess I'm not a huge fan of hills!π)
Will try again but might look for another Park that's not quite so hilly!!
