Life after C25K???

I know I have a few more weeks of hard work before graduation day, but I can’t help wondering - what next. I have seen reference to the bridge to 10k, but can’t find an app. I really feel that I am going to find it difficult not to have a mentor in my ears when I’m out there in the unknown. Does anyone know of a ‘next app’??

Hey ChettyAl.

First off, keep your focus on this programme for now. Don’t stumble by looking too far into the distance.

There isn’t an app for B210k but you won’t need one by then. It’s built upon being able to run 5k and most people need to do a few weeks (at least) consolidation to regularly reach that distance comfortably. During that time you “cut the apron strings” from the app and fly.

There is a whole forum for it and you certainly won’t be doing it unsupported.

But focus on C25K first.

In the end you let your body tell you what to do. (Mine usually says 'stop you're killing me', but it's a liar)

If you have Strava, or something like it, on your phone you can set it to shout out every Km, which I find helpful. I'd buy a sports watch, but I can't decide which one.....

As Jay66UK says concentrate on finishing this part first. But just a taste of what is/can follow is in the pinned posts - link below

Also if you do miss your coach there's nothing to stop you running week9 for a while with your chosen coach. Look forward to reading your graduation post.

Yeah! Just run for 20 minutes - was dreading it, but loved it so much. Just celebrated with a home zapped smoothie!
