Did 4km today nice and steady. I seem to have mastered the first five/ten minute melt downs and quickly get into a comfortable stride. The key for me has been making sure I'm breathing slow and deep, and not trying to grab great lungs full.
The old pit is getting nearer, but saw the boundary marker and turned back today, will save that for the cooler weather.
And after reading all the post about wearing shorts, I braved some slightly shorter leggings π this is massive for me and my milk bottles as they never see the light of day.

Well done on getting your pins out! I did exactly the same on my last run, thought I might frighten the wildlife but it was ok. π Sounds like a good run too π
Well Done! Good for you getting those pins out, hopefully we'll get some colour on our white bits over the next few weeks. I had to invest in some new sun cream, so grabbed the sport mist for easy application before running out the door! π
Just joined today, your posts are an inspiration, I have yet to get out the door and do the first run. Keep going so I can follow in your footsteps!!
Well done you!! My legs only look tanned because they are so hairy π but I do find it better for me personally to run in shorts as my legs get fairly warm.
