Evening run for the first time. First 10mins awful - thought for the first time I would have to give up and try another day - but then I seemed to find a rhythm and kept going despite the heat. Second half of the run felt much better. At the end of the 25 mins I decided to keep going as I wanted to get to 4K - stopped at 30mins and had done 4.1km. Could have gone a bit longer but didnโt want to risk injury or over doing it. Have stuck religiously to the programme up until now so donโt want to risk it going wrong!! Really pleased with myself as I could really have given up in the first 10 mins. Think I have the โbugโ ๐๐๐

Ahhh the toxic 10 - we know it well.
Glad you made it through, but donโt over do it... your running time will ramp up quick enough!
Well done ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐๐โค๏ธ
Itโs great when you realise that you can keep on running- and want to do so. Itโs only happened once for me recently but Iโm hoping to get that feeling back soon. Well done you โproper runnerโ! ๐
Well done!
Are you aware of the โtoxic 10โ? Have a search - I guess thatโs what happened at the start. Then your body started performing and you ran and ran.
You can try to minimise (or, if you are lucky, avoid) the toxic 10 by going slower for the first part of the run.
Well done for stopping, too - stick to the programme and avoid injury. Only a couple more weeks.
Enjoy your next run.
Well done the first 10 minutes is always hardest for me too. Well done you did great!
Well done... just follow the plan and keep it slow and steady as you head to the podium...always leave some left in the tank.... always
well done!! great distance!
