Early or late?

I intended to go out early this morning when it was cool. Instead I go hammering out with my fellow teacher buddies at 4. Blazing sunshine, 27 in the shade. Stocklake Striders strike again. Our numbers seriously depleted from an initial 11 in week 1, to a hardcore 4. Maybe the weather, maybe the flurry of parents evenings, maybe just trying to quietly back out now it’s getting more serious. They are on 28 minutes now. I’m on 30 - 35. It was a nice jog, but my real running is now a solo venture.😔 at least solo when I don’t have the old man nagging me to push myself.
