Both my knees hurt early on. I took ibuprofen and ran through it. That was against advice on here though 😳 I was fine. My colleagues, who are fitness gurus, both said it was just strength needed in my thighs. They must’ve been right as both eased in a few days 👍🏽
Knee troubles are often caused by the impact of running, so try to reduce it. Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill and wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
