Evening everyone!!

Hi all!!

I’ve posted a couple of times before and the support from you guys is brilliant.

So I’ve been having trouble with my right knee - aching on the inner side ( side closest to my other knee)

Any ideas? There are a few articles on the web but I thought I’d ask you wonderful lot!

I guess I’m going to have to rest up for a while?

Could it be due to old trainers? I’ve still not managed to get new ones yet.

I’m currently due to start w5r1.

Obviously I don’t want to wait if I don’t have to. (Im very headstrong when I get in to something)

Both my knees hurt early on. I took ibuprofen and ran through it. That was against advice on here though 😳 I was fine. My colleagues, who are fitness gurus, both said it was just strength needed in my thighs. They must’ve been right as both eased in a few days 👍🏽

Thank you! I might try that. I’ve had some ibuprofen and that did seem to help. 👍

Knee troubles are often caused by the impact of running, so try to reduce it. Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill and wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
