So I’ve been on my feet from 5am to around 11 from being at work, got home and at 11:45am went out to do week 4 run 2.
I did run 1 this week on the treadmill, and I found it surprisingly easy. Today, although not as easy as the treadmill, was still a surprisingly good run for me
Mentally I felt great, my legs felt a little like they wanted to give up though. My pace felt slow but comfortable and that’s the main thing. I supposedly went 4K on the treadmill on run 1, so figured a 3.5k course should be enough outside. I was wrong (or rather I overestimated the length of where I was going!) I ended up doing 4K again (but had a couple of extra minutes cool down).
My Fitbit battery had died, and I forgot to put my watch on. So only had boring Strava guy with me today too which felt strange!
Really pleased with today, especially going straight after work
