Graduation and....

So I graduated from Couch to 5K on Thursday! It was a struggle but it felt so amazing to be able to do it.

Moving on to today, I ran my first Cancer Research Race for Life 5K in honour of my Mum who passed away earlier this year. It was an incredible day, extremely emotional and empowering.

I managed to run it in 28 minutes and 44 seconds! I’m so proud of myself, this was something that I put all the effort in for completely by myself!! All my fundraising efforts were great because I’ve managed to raise £1200 towards the work of Cancer Research UK.

Couch to 5K is a great training programme and I really encourage anyone doing it to keep going, keep trying, and keep praising yourself. You’re amazing!

Wow! Well done on both graduating and running for such a worthy cause. So sorry to hear about your mum but what a great way to honour her memory and help others. 😊

Well done you! That's brilliant and well done with the race for life. I've only ever walked it. I couldn't get to this year's but I will run it next year!!! A great cause. My mum is finishing a course of very nasty chemo this week. I had bowel cancer 15 years ago. Well done you. Your mum would be proud x

Excellent result! Fabulous cause too. All the hard work had paid off. 🏃‍♀️💨💨💨
