Well done Lydia, that’s just one left to go now!

Re the treadmill, pace really doesn’t matter - post-graduation you can continue to run 30 minutes again and again, getting more comfortable with it, and pace will naturally develop from there.

So I don’t think that you should set it higher at the start because you feel you have to push on and run faster... just set the pace that you are most comfortable with, in order to keep running for those 30 minutes. You can always then increase it later in the run if you are feeling good.

That’s what I’ve been doing with my treadmill, anyway :)

Hi Lydia-jg I've just moved indoors to the treadmill for W8R1 and boy isn't it so much easier to get the pace right - sloooow. I think I can probably walk faster but running is harder so I'm sticking with what is working for me. As suggested I started on my slow speed currently 6.0kph and at 20 mins I felt OK enough to increase this to 6.1, baby steps but happier to be slow and finish than not finish at all as everyone says. Best of luck with the rest of the course, we can do this!

Look forward to seeing news if your graduation run tomorrow, slow to whatever speed you need to to get that 30 minutes done, I graduated 2 weeks ago and am only now looking to increase speed marginally each run

Yay well done you! That’s what I intend to do, slow and steady. Also want to transition more to outside and buy some decent trainers 😂thanks for the tip ✅
