Hi I'm Paula I'm 45 and new to the community. I started couch to 5 k earlier in the year. I got to week 5 run 3 and failed miserably. Got put off for a while but deep down really wanted to continue. I decided to restart yesterday. I started again at week 3 run 1, which I managed. I have two dogs which I walk often so felt I should be ok to start at this point. I am determined to complete it this time. I think being part of a community like this will help me and give me some encouragement. I am terrible for finding excuses why I can't do things. With working full time and having a family I am always feeling guilty for spending time on myself and always think there are other more important things I should be doing. Thanks for listening x

Tell yourself time spent on mums mental & physical well-being helps the family in more ways than you can imagine. It’s not selfish to take care of you. Well done for restarting

Thank you 😊

Welcome...You have come to the right place for support and encouragement. We take no excuses here! It is often hard to make time for oneself but your children will benefit from having a running mum and you will be a great role model. Go You! :)
