I have found while reading through these posts some really spirited people who obviously have a will and drive to complete this C25K. I have also seen how disheartened some people feel.
I just wanted to give my opinion here in th hope it may help someone along.
1) There is nothing wrong with not completing any of the runs; your doing it and trying it and everyone is of different abilities. Take a rest if need be but don’t get disheartened; I assure you no one become an amazing runner in a day.
2) There is nothing wrong with re-repeating a week to boost your confidence and make you stronger and fitter; slow and steady will win the race.
I think what I am trying to get across is that you don’t need to do this in the allotted number of weeks. As long as the end goal is there and you keep at it and stay injury free you are doing well.
It took my twice the time almost too get to 5K I ended up repeating the weeks twice however I can honestly say the sense of achievement was not any less. In fact I felt stronger my runs did not feel like a chore or tedious. Your body has to adjust to running especially of your older.

No problem. In my view you have to take this at your own pace, some people would say no pain no gain. It’s essential to do this at your own pace so you start to enjoy the experience of running. If it becomes a chore you will never be able to appreciate the beauty of what running can offer; don’t get me wrong everyone has off days.
Keep well , stay strong and most of don’t pressure yourself.
There are many ways to get to the podium and beyond and learning to run teaches us much about ourselves.
Personally I need to be disciplined, to practice grit and determination otherwise I would have made excuses and probably have given up. It’s still true now a year on😊
However you have found your own path and that’s just great 👍 Enjoy your running 🏃🏾♀️ 🏃♂️
