Re-combining Running and Healthy Eating

It's been a little while since I updated (I know you've all missed me and are simply agog to hear what I've been up to)

My laptop's in for repairs meaning my options were either a) use my phone - no, the little virtual keyboard is fine for facebook and texts but not so great for blogging. b) use MrPsycho's pride and joy, built by his own two hands purely for gaming and whatever else he and his group of friends do via their headsets beast of a computer - again, no, it's like trying to work out a Rubix cube whilst blindfolded to get into it without his help. Fortunately, I'm able to use a small netbook for the time being.

Down to the important bits - My beloved Mr Psycho joined Weight Watchers back in January and now that May is nearly over, his grand total of loss is a whopping 3stone. Now, I've very proud of him, of course I am, this is a man whose favourite food is, unabashedly, a Big Tasty from *ahem* a Scottish-named, American-owned chain of restaurants and who loves to be sat stationary in front of Netflix with a bottle of Pepsi Max Cherry, so to see him so determined to do this inspired me and...now I've joined as well.

my first weigh-in was Saturday and...it wasn't as bad as I feared but some poundage definitely needs to be removed from my frame - Mr Psycho cannot be skinnier than me, sorry, it's not happening ;) OK, he's not likely to ever be skinner than me, he's a big broad bloke, but you get what I'm getting at, right?

I've taken full advantage of this glorious weather we've been having, even gone running in shorts a couple of times (let me just apologise to any motorists who saw me and whom I may have inadvertently blinded with my bright white legs) - I'm determined that this year is my year, I will lose some poundage and keep ahead of the zombies - I'm nearly at the end of season 1 with that, btw. I'm so bloody attached to these characters it's unreal, lol.

OK, well, I'm off to get a drink of water

Take care
