Given the go ahead :)

Hurrah, saw the physio yesterday about my shoulder & it's not the arthritis that is causing the blooming awful pain, it's impingement of my bicep tendon which is what I thought it was all along. Anyhoo, physio says it's ok to run - whoo hoo! So, the sun has been shining today so I decided to run after work.

The usual inner voice started to whinge and make all the excuses not to go out when I arrived home and then Mrs Psycho rang to say she was too tired to run so I almost threw in the towel, but Daughter in Law to be kicked my backside through the door and off I went. Ooooh, it was hard but absolutely fabulous to feel the wind and sun. I did a gentle 2.6km with a few short walking sessions and feel great. I have missed running so much. Out for a walk tomorrow to build up stamina and get back into the zone. I have signed up for a 5k Virtual Run before the end of May so got to keep at it.

Happy running all :)
