Oh no! Wk 5 Run 1

Hi all,

Finding your posts really inspiring! I was motoring along until Week 5 run 1 on Monday - although I completed it, I ended up with a pain on the outside of my ankle, which made me hobble after I had run. It's not quite so bad now, but hasn't gone away. I'm not going to run today as still hurting.

My question is; if this takes, say, a week to heal where should I restart, do you think?

Any help/advice would really be appreciated. Gutted!

Cathy

No, I would't restart after a week. You should be fine to carry on where you left off. Hope your ankle gets better soon x

I hurt my knee on wk5 R1 I haven’t been able to run for 2 weeks. Today I did W5 R2 admittedly it was hard, but doable

I think you should continue where you left off, but take it easy and watch your ankle
