Thinking of repeats

Did my W2 R2 this sunny May Bank holiday morning. One more to complete this week and I come to the conclusion that I should repeat this week once more to make sure I have the stamina to live on to week 3. Anyone done repeats ?

Well done on another one in the bag! But you've already proved that you've nailed W2. Trust the programme and go at W3 but take it gently. My big learning in W3 has been once you've done the first day you've succeeded already for the whole week. That takes the stress off the other two days so you can slow it down if necessary. Your legs will still be getting stronger. Let us know how you get on tho!! Big thumbs up for today!!

Many..but mostly only of they had to..:) if you completed the runs.. move on.

Just take it steady and slow...and, you need to be making sure that you are doing your stamina and core strength exercises too.. on your rest days. These are what help us to get through to Week 9 having had fun and injury free:)

I would try not to repeat, trust the programme. If it feels hard you are working at capacity, if it feels easy you are probably asleep and dreaming. I did W8R1 this morning and very nearly stopped for a breather. For the first time I staggered up a ‘hill’ instead of walking for longer to avoid running up it. I kept going at an even slower speed than ever, but did it. I think that is the trick, you can’t improve if you keep doing the same thing. Good luck!

The danger is that you will not feel ‘ready’ even if you repeat. How will you know when it’s time to move on?

I think a lot of people do repeat and that’s fine if it’s what you feel comfortable with. However really not necessary. The programme is very clever, put your trust in it 🏃🏾‍♀️👍

Thank you for all the support and advise. I'll try to complete week 2 first. Then see how I get on with the first run of week 3. What a sunny day today !
