Sometimes get a nasty pain in back of neck when running. Thinks it’s down to posture. Anyone else get this?

Week 5, run 2 done. The 20 minute one is looming 😳

Enjoying the running so much though and the challenge

Try and relax your shoulders

Shake them out in your warm up walk👌🏃🏾‍♀️

I get that too and I'm wondering if it's because I'm running with my phone in my hand. Do you? It might be time to get a running band. Good luck with your 20 minute run, you can do It!

I’ve got an arm band so not holding my phone. Just gonna concentrate on posture and standing tall. Thanks for the encouragement jogger84! Need to find a very flat path for the 20 minute run as I don’t like hills even small inclines lol!

It could be. I get a very strong ache sometimes and I know I've started tilting my head back slightly, putting pressure on the back of my neck which is bad news for the blood flow 😧. It seems that I correct one bad habit only to get another and go round the bad habits in cycles or find a new one!😳.Monitor your posture through your next few runs, correcting where necessary and if this doesn't stop the pain do get medical advice.
