You are very unlikely to cover 5k in W3 and what distance you actually did cover will depend on your pace.......that will be different for each individual.

The guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... has loads of advice and tips.

Enjoy your journey.

Don't even think about distance (or speed) as you do this plan. Its purpose is to increase your stamina until you can run for 30 minutes without stopping. Once you've finished the plan you can then start to work on increasing your speed and/or distance as suits you then.

Only a few are doing 5K by the end of the 9 weeks. But 'Couch to Running 30 Minutes at a Sustainable Pace Without Stopping' didnt sound quite so catchy.

The plan is to get you doing 30 minutes of non stop 'running'. The distance you cover in that time does not matter. Me personally, I graduated last year and it takes me around 40 minutes to reach 5k. But I can run that 40 minutes at my pace without stopping.

Dont worry about distance at this stage. Just keep it nice and slow, take your rest days and follow the plan.

Enjoy the journey
