The last couple of weeks there have been a few issues that the admins have been dealing with in the background.

We do everything we can to keep the forum a happy peaceful place where everyone can feel safe and relaxed. All the admins and mentors on this forum are volunteers, we give our time freely and do everything we can to keep things running smoothly.

To help us with the job we have to do it would be easier if you come to us with anything you are not happy with and let us look into it. It is easier to deal with a situation at the start of an issue rather than after it has got out of hand. Any post or personal message you think is inappropriate please let us know.

Personal messages can be reported by clicking on the three buttons on the top of the message. These reports go straight through to Health unlocked and they deal with any issues with personal messages. The Admins do not have access to look into your personal messages which is why you must report things on personal messages through the three buttons.

Reporting a post comes through to us and a report to Healthunlocked. If you personal message an admin, the admins look at the issue collectively and make a judgement on each and every situation and take the appropriate action.

There are hardly any issues that we have to deal with, we are lucky that most issues are miscommunication issues and not meant the way phrases have come across.

Totally Inappropriate posts are deleted and then depending on the severity either the poster warned or if it was really bad they are restricted from coming back on the forum. We protect the forum by the fact that Healthunlocked have the ability to know when someone comes back with a different username after they have been restricted and they deal with it.

Some issues are contentious and we allow debates on these issues, we deem that to be healthy and often we can learn new things from the difference of opinions of others. Sometimes people will word their replies and they may seem harsh but they don’t mean it that way and those issues can be sorted out easily without any upset if they are nipped in the bud.

So please help us out by not letting situations escalate until they are nearly impossible to sort out.

Happy running everyone.

An excellent post, Rfc. I think it should be pinned, preferably under FAQs.

Thank you so much for keeping us all motivated, informed and supported. I wouldn’t have even started C25K had I not seen the depth of support and enthusiasm on this forum for helping us all learn to run and make positive changes in our lives even though I’ve wanted to do this for years but hadn’t felt brave enough. We are all on our individual journeys but bringing us together here means that we’re not alone running and we can celebrate, commiserate and learn with each other. The amount of time and advice you give is hugely appreciated 🌟🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A big thank you to all of the administrators and mentors who give so generously of their time, knowledge, encouragement and support. This forum is a lifeline for those doing the C25K plan and beyond long may it continue to do so.

The admins and mentors do such a great job on here and I thank you for giving up your time so generously. This is a wonderful, supportive forum and we have so many people who like to help. People have different opinions and that gives us the benefit of lots of knowledge, but it's true that the written word doesn't necessarily express what was meant or the eye doesn't take in what was intended and there are times when an emoji just doesn't cut it. Most of the time people mean well, but it's fab that we have the backup of the admins when we need that bit more help. Thank you!

This forum is fantastic & it’s all down to everyone in the back ground that keep everything ticking along nicely...obviously we all need to be here too or else you’d have nothing to do!! I don’t know how you all find the time on top of life itself so a massive thankyou from me x

You are like most club officials - doing a thankless task that no-one else wants to do but moans about nonetheless. Please keep up the good work!
