Really pleased to have completed this without any trouble - tho last bit of run was slightly uphill, poor planning on my part!
Where I run I have never seen anyone else running until today. Crossed paths with another runner - both of us v similarly dressed, requisite earbuds etc - and I smiled - she didn't. Maybe we are not meant to acknowledge other runners (distracting?) - not sure of the etiquette as new to this game!

I run along the seafront in Bournemouth, and normally pass half a dozen other runners - there are some who are so "in the zone" that they don't acknowledge you, but most of the time, there's at least a smile, if not a "good morning" - there's definitely a bit of a running camaraderie going on!
I'm in Canada. I always smile and if they maintain eye contact I say hello as we pass. Sometimes other people aren't friendly so they look down before I can say hello, and one time I was the one who didn't smile or say anything as I was at the end of a tough run. Give the benefit of the doubt and keep smiling and being yourself!
