What does everyone eat after a morning run? I had a small banana before I went out Been home an hour and still not really hungry(very unusual for me!) I will have some porridge as if I don’t eat I will be ravenous by lunchtime!

I try to have a banana in for immediately after the run. I’ve noticed I feel a lot less hungry in the hour or two after running (regardless of time of day) but that my appetite overall is raised.
I’m starting the healthy eating plan next week to ensure I don’t undo the good of running by the bad of stuffing my face full of bad things!
I go out first thing so don't eat before i go just a black coffee. When i get back I shower/sort kids etc and then eat - by which time i am starving lol.
I go with high protein so either scrambled eggs and beans or overnight oats with blueberries -super filling food. I don't want to be eating all day and undoing the hard work of running - i am hungrier on run days so this is vital.
I would say aim for some eggs - even if you don't feel hungry they are easy to eat, and i think it is good to get some protein in to help your body start the repair process!
I usually have a banana in some form. Today I had a cinnamon bagel topped with a tiny bit of honey, a banana and then chia seeds, flaxseeds and pumpkin seeds. But that'll be my lunch and later I'll have some chia seed pudding I made with soya.
Can you have something handy for when you do get hungry? No need to eat if you aren’t feeling any hunger cues.
Porridge is excellent run grub, post or pre. I live on the stuff. I make mine with water, as running and milk don't go well together for me 🙂
A nana a day is good too 😃👍
Eating healthily is a good plan for all. It especially for runners. You don’t need extra grub at this stage though 🙂
