Feeling Inspired!

New to this running lark as have had lifelong (over 60 years) asthma and now a condition called bronchiectasis so this had made me an exercise-phobe over the years. Go to gym but hate it so decided to give this a go. Determined not to be a victim to my lungs!! Posts inspirational on here so I'm sure that will help. Just completed week 1 run 3 and feeling good - yay!

Ha! Angela Rippon on a health programme at 9:15 BBC1 this morning was put off by her asthma. Loving your attitude Lousylungs. I can see a name change ahead for you! 😉

Well done!

Lots of us have different health problems and I'm sure others would agree that this programme gives back some 'control'. Or maybe I'm just a control freak! :O :O

I’m in similar shape. Just started week 3 and am amazed how much better I feel. No longer care what I look like (went out in daylight today) just enjoying feeling fitter. Good luck
