Well I have completed W1R3, after reading some of the posts on here about this run I really wasn’t looking forward to it. Motivation dipped slightly (the 6am alarm wasn’t so welcome this morning) and the fear of what emotions were going to hit whilst out were in full swing HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised! The run wasn’t bad, I enjoyed it as much as I did with run 2 and my recovery times between runs and much quicker! I’m not going to class myself as a runner until the full 9 weeks are completed but only 8 left to go, who thought I’d have made it this far?! Not me!
Pessimistic : Well I have completed W1R3, after... - Couch to 5K

Also, for every post that has put you off, there are hundreds that will lift you right up again.
Each run makes you stronger, each run gets you fitter.. each run follows the one before and helps with all aspects of our running!
Running is amazing.... many folk felt like they may collapse in those first weeks...me included... yet here we still are.. me at 68 ( just last week ) three times a week and still having a blast!
Take it steady and take it sow... focus on the positive posts and read some of the past posts... if you have time to spare.
You became a new runner when you took those first runs...now, head onwards, with us by your side and you will get to that podium...
