I forgot to write about my run yesterday! So I've officially finished week 2 and I'm feeling great. My new shoes are so comfortable, I've discovered I LOVE running outside and I've found my new favourite route: along the canal. It's so pretty and, when I run in the morning, there are lots of others milling about so it feels really safe.

Yesterday morning, I woke up suffering from a pretty horrendous cold which is still taking its toll on me. But I went out anyway and I'm so glad I did! My sinuses cleared up (for about half an hour after, but still) and I started the day feeling awake and happy that I managed to get out there despite being ill. Before starting an exercise routine, I would NEVER have got myself out of bed to go for a run, but since going to the gym and starting c25k I feel so much more motivated. If you take anything from this post, let it be that, even if you are sick or are making any other excuses not to get out there, ignore the voice in your head telling you not to go! You can do it.

Brilliant 👍 but hang on 🤔 new shoes? You do realise we love to see new running shoes right? 🤣

I'm glad they're comfy though. That's so important. Sounds like a great run. Keep it up 😁
