I don’t want to finish. My next run which should have been today is w9r3. I will graduate. I am now planning on doing it tomorrow but I don’t want to 😂😢😂. Is this a known condition. Is there a remedy.

I think that's procrastination. If you're telling the truth that is.

Haha. You’re right. This ailment is worse than I thought. It’s making me really ill in ways I didn’t realise.

Do it! You get awarded your Graduate badge and lots of cheering and whooping...

There is lots more running to do once you complete the c25k, here is a link all about it..

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

There are c25k + podcasts, ZombieRuns! Parkrun and 10 is the Magic Number plans all for free!

Once you can run for 30 minutes, your adventures are just starting 😉..

Good luck with your Wk9 R3 😊x.

The trick is to think through what you want to do in the first 4-6 weeks after graduation. I celebrated by making a new playlist of favourite music to run to. I also listened to some radio 4 podcasts. Consolidation of 30 min runs for a few weeks is a good idea. I tried varying routes too, which helped a lot.

Nearly there- I’m polishing the podium for you! Practice your biggest happy grin!😃

Thanks Elfe5. I think I have been a bit confused because I did a parkrun on Saturday (my first). I was able to run for 38 minutes without any trouble which I really didn’t expect. So now I’ve got to revise my plan.

That’s s great achievement, well done. However don’t lose sight of the fact that you are still a very new runner. Also that your cardio develops ahead of muscles and tendons so it is easy to think that you feel okay and then strain a muscle. Building up patiently is so much better than sitting on the IC.

I planned variety - Parkrun, investigate the Jeff Galloway 15/2 run /walk technique (which I abandoned because I grew into preferring continuous running, but it is always an option on a “tired day”). I ran in different places & varied routes. Unfortunately injury & later illness got in the way. I hope to start all over again soon! Good luck and enjoy! 😀

Thanks for your advice. I will take heed as it’s no good going to all this trouble and getting over confident.

You might have noticed there are a large number of graduates on this forum who hang around because they have nothing better to do with their time. You can graduate and join the rest of us "Billy-no-mates" who just loiter with intent.........no need to abandon us, but do follow the link that Bluebirdrunner has given you.

There is a whole big running world out there to explore, but you are still welcome here.
