I love running 🏃‍♀️

Never thought I’d be writing that 6 months ago! But having run this morning I’m already looking forward to Saturday when I get to go again!

Did I struggle...? 🤣 oh yes! 9 wk program took 6 months!

Didn’t post much of my journey on here but developed a foot injury which I couldn’t even walk on, flu, snow and all of that was easier to battle than the thoughts in my head that said it was too hard (eg I’m going to die...)

Having a plan to follow really helped (just tick off the next run)

Encouragement on here was amazing (even if it was just reading someone else being cheered on)

And keeping focused on the process not the result (my aim wasn’t to lose wait/run 5k etc. But to become healthier by exercising x3 times a week)

I got there though and love running, love feeling healthier, and love proving to myself that I can achieve something (eventually!)

Amazing!! Thanks for sharing :) Love that goal of exercising being the reason for exercising - so simple and yet so powerful.
