Well I have wanted to do this since I started running. Its 6k from the stream at Woolacombe to the Rocks at Putsborough and back.
Running against the wind is hard! Luckly the first half was against the wind which meant that the second half I'd have a tailwind.
After doing c25K I have consolidated and (mostly) followed Admin advice. I ignored the pace on my watch and instead ran to a more or less constant heart rate. My theory is that once warmed up, heart rate relates to effort, if you chose an effort that you are comfortable at, then you just keep on going and it feels good too. Heart rate too high, well slow down a bit. Stats show I was slower going out (against the wind) and a bit faster coming back ( tailwind). Wasn't really fast 7m 08 per km. But I did it!
Woo Hoo! See you out there. Delights like this await!
