What a fabulous group!! Thank you for the kind and generous messages of support, am really blown away. I've just bought a pair of trainers...(only fashion statement types owned until now) and feel like I can rule the world. The guys in the shop were really helpful and I learnt a lot, as well as some new lingo 😃 Will avidly spend the rest of this afternoon reading the posts/guides you've suggested then get going tomorrow with Michael Johnson purring in my ear 😁😁

Great job getting the trainers sorted - your feet are your foundation in running, so very important. Even better job choosing Mr Smooth (Michael J) as your coach - he got me through and beyond. Having an Olympian on your side, means your graduation will be a sure fire thing!

Good for you! Running shoe lingo is baffling 😁 I fancied a pair of brooks so was reading the blurb which said, “wear testers were stoked” WTF 😁 Such rubbish
