Been doing my runs after work so far, the kids woke me up at 4:30 Wednesday morning so I got up, coffe, toast, then auto pilot took over and next thing I know I have my running gear on and am leaving the door!
Going to try and make the morning run a habit, realy feel like it’s sets me up for the day (for a few hours then I crash at lunch time lol).
The only downside I find is that after the days break between runs I feel like I havnt been out for ages!

That’s fantastic if you are not naturally a morning person. Over the next few weeks if you carry on with the mornings, you’ll have the added pleasure of all the birdsong at this time of year, which I’m looking forward to hearing. Good luck.
I love the morning runs... stick at it and you will find that the lunchtime slump becomes a thing of the past.
Take it slow and steady and enjoy the lovely mornings.. whatever they bring. Out in all weathers you will really enjoy the change of seasons and even begin to embrace the climate!!!
Use the rest days for non impact exercise.. walk, cycle, swim or take some other exercise of your choice..it will really help with stamina and strength
Much prefer running in the morning as well. I've made it into a habit by going for a walk on the mornings I don't run so i'm up and out every weekday (weekends not so much).
