I went for a long run yesterday, 7k, but I am allowed as I've increased by running properly after graduation.
BUT then a friend asked me if I would do her week 5 run 3 with her as she was convinced it was impossible. So I have been naughty and run 2 days, sorry π
For all those mid c25k it is possible and woohoo she was super proud of herself.
We went slow as a snail and at 10 mins she said I can't do this but I kept chatting and distracting her and before she knew it she was being told to slow to her walk!
It also reminded me how far I've run in 6 months and what I've achieved π
Happy running everyone πββοΈπ

You are forgiven Carolyn aha, but you've done a good deed in the process by helping and encouraging your friend and that is good in anyone's eyes. Well done chick, you're a star x
It's okay. You are a grown up, and probably quite able to gauge what your own body is capable of. You are actually allowed to do whatever you want. The opinions of other runners on how much and how often to run are just opinions, not facts set in stone. For all the (very few actually) cautionary tales of people who came to tragic ends for ignoring the 10 percent rule or running on consecutive days, there are many many who did those things and continue to do so and are perfectly fine.
