Just completed week 5 run 2 - super chuffed as I could barely run for 2 minutes without feeling like I was going to die at the beginning of the programme!!

My question is - does anyone else suffer with shin pain whilst running? I work long shifts so have to do my runs on a treadmill (super boring but I’m too much of a wimp to run in the dark👀) - could this be the issue? It’s only down the front of my shins & only whilst running...

Planning on tackling the big W5 R3 on Friday! Eek!

Treadmills normally are softer on impact than running out doors.

Try slowing down and make sure your footfall is under your body and not out in front and avoid heelstriking.

Good luck. W5R3 is more achievable than you probably realise. Get your mind right and your body will do the rest.
