I fell over on Sat doing week 6 run 1, its still sore. I washed it again today and put another plaster on. It felt ok until I washed it. Any advice would be greatly apreacated.

Is this looking any better?
looks like a scraped knee. Will be fun picking the scab later, but not sure what answer you are looking for? Is it stopping you running?
What it looks like on the outside is immaterial, we can't diagnose what you may have done to the joint underneath. But if you knee moves fluidly and correctly and it is not swollen in the joint(ignore minor surface bruising) then you should be ok. If it is stiff and doesn't move well I'd rest it up a bit more.
As long as you can keep it clean leave it uncovered to dry out.. maybe just some bruising discomfort on bending, go easy on it for now and see if it improves...
I think a bruise and a scrape, in which case fresh air and maybe some arnica: you can get herbal cream, or homeopathic tablets. Both seem to help when I've had bad bruising though of course whether its a placebo effect is debatable (butI'm inclined to think that if it works, I don't really care how).
Follow you body's cues (i.e. don't run if it hurts).
In terms of infection, is it hotter than the surrounding skin? Does it smell unusual or ooze smelly ooze? If not, I'm inclined to think you're ok, but it might be worth asking a pharmacist (they're great for quick advice in my experience)
Feel better soon!
My daughter had a similar wound. It went a bit green, but this was just the new skin forming. I think she germalined it and kept it covered in the daytime but uncovered at night.
It took a few weeks to scab over.

Soothing Savlon Antiseptic Cream helps prevent infection and aids natural healing in cuts and grazes; insect bites and stings; sore or chapped skin; blisters, burns and spots; even minor sunburn.
That or Germolene can't do any harm, do you need anyone to put it on for you?😊
