My husband and I graduated two weeks ago. He wants to do interval training alongside runs and we’ve done two sessions. ( He was a youth rugby coach in younger days). I’m finding it fun but very hard going. I’m worrying that my running will fall behind if I don’t keep it up. We’re doing our first park run on Saturday though. I’m wondering, is there an interval training app like C25k we could use alongside our runs? We did a few laps during our session and I found it so hard- why? Thanks for any advice given.

Intervals are tough. Most training plans only give an interval session once per week always followed by an easy run.
You can programme Runkeeper, and probably some other apps, to do intervals of your choice.

Hi Crystaltips, well done to you and your husband for Graduating the program😊
You could try out the c25k + podcasts, they are different and have pacing tips. The speed podcast is an interval run.
As lannodatruffe has said, maybe once a week for intervals is enough.

I saw a lot of people use week one of C25K, but do jog/sprint instead of walk/run. I've been doing it for about 3 weeks now and really recommend it!
