So tonight I will be completing run 1 of week 6, saturdays 20 min run was tough I’m not gonna lie, but then I am carrying 5 stone of extra weight I’m trying to lose, but I did it, in my head I’m struggling to think I could run 5k, but I am keeping at it, good luck everyone

Forget 5K...just relax, enjoy the lovely longer runs and take it slow and steady.

Let your newly found running legs just carry you. They know what they are doing now, so look around and enjoy:)

W6R1 has a reputation for catching cocky W5 graduates out, because it has a walking interval, so it must be easy..........it is not hard, but show it respect.

Relax and enjoy yourself.

Good work! Keep going, enjoy your running and don't get hung up on distance. That will come naturally with experience and confidence in your ability. Good luck!

Go Miffylou! Believe in yourself. I’ve got 7 stone to shed and struggled on a couple of runs but this supportive community got me through. Enjoy the euphoria when you’ve finished and just think back to the beginning of the programme when 3 mins seemed like an eternity!
