Well today I finally did it. No official time yet and my watch started a bit late but guessing around 32 mins. Really chuffed. And it all started here!

Ok official time of 00:34:42. Bit slower than predicted but I did it and thats what counts.!

Thats still a great time! You now have a pb that you can work on if you wish to.

Loads of strategies at parkrun, I was surprised when the tail runner ( now called tail walker) suggested to me I take the racing line. I am always polite and keep out of the way of others but often thought.... how come MMR tells me I run further than 5k each time....... I was taking a longer route unknowingly 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Doesnt make much difference to my slow times but the faster runners all know the racing line!

In Southampton today there was 1002 attendees. Which apparently is one of the biggest in the country. I definetely need to put myself further up the pecking order as I was caught behind alot of slower runners.

That's a great time. I ran with a friend today who hasn't done a park run before so we were slower but I still had fun. Love park runs 👍

was amazing yeah infact i think it would demotivate me to run with smaller crowds now. This was a great feeling.
