Starting over

Hi everyone

I did a couch to 5k programme a couple of years ago then didn't keep it up. I have worked out it is 9 weeks until my Easter break and I will be visiting cousins on the coast. I'd love to be able to run 5k by then. Maybe even do a Park Run by my 56th birthday in May!

My only issue with a park run is that I run really, really slowly..about 45 to 50 minutes last time I was able to do that distance. Any hints about how to improve speed from day 1? I swear I can walk faster than I run

Welcome back to running.

C25K is about building stamina not speed, so just start again at a nice steady pace.

This guide will give you many tips healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.
