I've been leading a charmed life recently, running in warm locations where the only problem was getting up early enough to avoid your brains frying.

Now I'm back I'm really struggling with the c-c-c-c-cold...and I haven't even gone outdoors today. Before Christmas i was running in the snow...how can I get my UK running mojo back?

Wrap up and take the approach of an explorer in the arctic and the passion will follow :)

I know--before my break I was shuffling round the park like a moving jumble sale, but I seem to have lost the Captain Oates spirit.

I'd also completely forgotten that it gets dark really early, so my dithering around means I'll have to stay in the tent till tomorrow.

What about doing some warming-up routine at home before heading out so that the cold doesn't feel so bad?
