Hello all and a happy new year !

I was on course to graduate at Christmas but unfortunately I had to have a procedure done so have done no running or exercise for the last couple of weeks πŸ˜‰

Now I feel like a sloth and need to get back into the world of running πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜„

what’s the best way to approach it should I start again from wk 1 ? what do you recommend

TIA πŸ‘

Happy new year! I’m in a similar situation, just went out to see where I was up to, didn’t set any goals but didn’t push too hard just in case. That could be the worse advice possible but it worked for me.

You shouldn't need to go back so far (depending on the procedure I suppose) after just a couple of weeks. Just head out the door and do a gentle jog and see how far you go. I am sure you will be surprised at your retained fitness. Enjoy :)

Just back and I had to do intervals of running then walking, could feel it in my legs and also my breathing , I have however got a bit of a cold so maybe that not helping πŸ˜‰

I will keep persevering and get back into it again πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘ thank you for your advise
